Creative Brand Strategist & Growth Marketing Leader
I’m Nicole Livermore, but most people call me Nikki. My career spans agency and in-house roles, and the range of both has shaped how I think. On the agency side, I learned to move fast, read a room, and build creative that performs across wildly different categories and constraints. In-house, I learned how strategy lives and dies in the operational reality of business. Together, that experience has put me in front of startups finding their footing, established DTC and CPG brands scaling fast, and B2B organizations building the kind of presence that earns trust before the first conversation.
What draws me to this work is the puzzle of it. Every brand has a story worth telling and an audience worth understanding. Getting those two things to meet in a way that is both beautiful and effective is what I show up for every day. I bring the magic and logic in equal measure, because one without the other is either decoration or machinery, and neither one moves people.
Curiosity is a permanent state, and right now there is no shortage of things worth being curious about. Emerging AI tools, shifting platform behaviors, new creative formats, evolving audience psychology. I am not interested in watching from the sidelines. I want to understand, learn, test, and build with it in ways that actually serve the people and outcomes on the other end.
The best marketing is deeply human. It starts with genuine empathy for the audience, a real understanding of what they care about, what they are navigating, and what will earn their attention and trust. That empathy is not soft. It is the sharpest strategic tool in the kit, and it is what separates marketing that performs from efforts that merely exist.
Collaboration is where I come alive. I do my best thinking in rooms where the conversation is honest, the standards are high, and everyone is genuinely invested in getting it right. I bring a strong point of view and the attention to detail to back it up, the quick thinking to pivot when the strategy calls for it, and a genuine openness to the direction nobody has tried yet. Some of the most powerful creative solutions live just outside the obvious answer, and I have learned to look there first.
- DTC E-commerce and CPG — building the brand systems, lifecycle programs, and performance creative that turn early traction into sustained growth.
- Restaurants and Hospitality — crafting warm, memorable brands that bring people in and keep them coming back.
- Law, Finance and Insurance — creating professional brand presence and collateral that instills confidence at every stage of the client relationship.
- Ag and Bio-Science — developing marketing grounded in the rhythms of nature and the realities of production, from homesteading to large-scale agricultural operations.
- Veterinary and Animal Health — brand and marketing work that speaks authentically to practitioners and pet owners alike.
- Beauty and Lifestyle — aspirational brands designed to resonate across demographics without losing what makes them distinctive.
- Construction and Real Estate — earning trust through visual identity and communication that is polished, clear, and built to last.
- Music, Politics and Nonprofits — amplifying the voices and missions that deserve to be heard, with creative that moves people to act.
Where I've made an impact.
What I bring to a team.
Crafting comprehensive creative marketing solutions including:
- Creative Content — campaign messaging, brand voice, copywriting, editorial content, and the long-form thinking that gives a content program real depth and staying power.
- Digital Marketing — direct response, paid social, video, email, and digital retargeting across the full channel mix, built around clear goals and real audience insight.
- AI Workflows — integrating AI tools purposefully across research, content development, creative production, and campaign strategy. Not replacing the thinking, multiplying it.
- Motion, Static and Creative Direction — visual systems and creative briefs that earn attention, hold brand consistency, and give teams a clear creative north star.
- Branding and Identity — brand strategy, positioning, visual identity, and design systems built to scale without losing their integrity.
- Analytics and Performance — translating data into decisions. Campaign reporting, funnel analysis, conversion optimization, and the kind of honest performance reads that make the next brief smarter than the last one.
- Project and Campaign Management — bringing structure to ambitious work without losing the creative energy inside it. Timelines, priorities, cross-functional coordination, and the judgment to know when to hold the plan and when to change it.
- Website Design and Development — functional, conversion-focused builds designed to grow with the business.
- Marketing Collateral — print, packaging, signage, trade show, and direct mail that carries the brand confidently into the real world.
Think I'd be a great fit on your team?
Senior brand and growth marketing leaders who can run strategy, creative, and systems in the same breath are rare. If your team is looking for that kind of range, I would love to be in that conversation. Open to contract and full-time roles at agencies and startups doing work that matters.
Great Strategy is a Team Sport
Shared goals, real-world outcomes. Working alongside ambitious brands and people is my inspiration and drive.
“Nicole helped build Equell from the ground up, leading our brand identity, product packaging, website build and ongoing growth marketing. Her work directly drove a strong increase in both conversions and brand awareness, helping Equell quickly establish itself as a trusted name in equine nutrition. She combines strategic thinking with high quality design across web, print adverts, and trade show materials, and she delivers consistently under tight deadlines. I would highly recommend her to any brand looking for creative and marketing support that delivers real results.” ~ Rachael Heald, Founder, Equell Supplements
“We worked with Nicole on a brand refresh project. Nicole and I had worked together previously in the agency world and I have kept tabs on the beautiful work she has continued to do. We called on her to help us creatively and she absolutely did the right thing in digging deep to better understand the strategy first. And she took it a few steps further in challenging and guiding based on her experience. She listened and responded accordingly, was great to work with and we ended up with the strategic and creative brand foundation we needed to help the refreshed brand grow and bloom.” ~ Wynnie Z., Global Director of Marketing, GENEX
